After switching some cars at Redwood Junction, the work train crossed over from Main Track 1 to 2 at milepost 27.0, and is seen here proceeding north on 2 to the Coast Lead to retrieve more cars. It is the weekend, and as has become customary, there is "single-tracking" along some parts of the line. The work train assists in bringing cars and materials to the contractors working on the "OOS" (Out Of Service track).
